More Channels for Adsense

Wednesday, August 24th, 2005

Now you can have up to 200 tracking channels in your Adsense account. That is pretty nice as the 50 I had before were really limiting how I segment my sites. Thanks for the boost Adsense team. You can read more on the Official Adsense Blog.

GoogleGuy’s Identity Revealed?

Friday, August 19th, 2005

I just came across this post over at Matt Cutts’ blog about javascript redirects and noticed that someone has said that Danny Sullivan is the infamous Google Guy. I would assume that Matt is moderating comments on his blog as spammers would most likely love to spam a known Googler’s blog. Interesting…

Size - Does it Matter?

Monday, August 15th, 2005

Just browsing the Search Engine Watch Blog and Danny Sullivan posted a pretty funny article about search engine database size and how the major SEs seem to think that anyone cares. Danny Sullivan and the team over at Search Engine Watch have launched a daily podcast called The Daily SearchCast. It is a quick, 15 minute, update on the previous day’s news in the world of SEO and SEM. I like that I can listen to what Danny and the SEW team feel are the […]

Well, the boys and girls at Yahoo have been very busy this year. They have decided to launch a competitive product called Yahoo! Publisher Network Self-Serve Beta. Pretty fancy name huh? Well, it appears that they are not really content to sit back and watch Sergei and Larry make all of the money out there. […]

Wednesday, July 20th, 2005

Looks like our friends at Yahoo! Search have decided to do an update. Starting in the wee hours of the morning, people began reporting big swings in their Yahoo! results. I can confirm that there are some big changes in the 20 or so websites that I monitor.

Die PR Die

Monday, July 18th, 2005

It was so nice not to have to listen to the constant PR chatter for the past few months. Yeah, there was the occaisional, “when is PR going to update next” threads on the SEO forums, but for the most part, talk about PR had fallen by the wayside. People were again focused on the […]

Pingomatic Issues

Monday, June 27th, 2005

It looks like the people over at Pingomatic have found the limits of the WordPress blogging sofware. I have become a big fan of WordPress in the past couple of months as it is not only a great blogging platform, but a simple CMS (Content Management System) for people to build a website on. Recently […]
