The Blog Party is Coming
Blogging is great. Most blogging platforms provide an easy to use and access system where people can publish thoughts, ideas and just about anything else, to the web in a matter of minutes. The SEO community has been embracing this technology lately, which may or may not be a blessing, but only time will tell. While there are many Blog and RSS aggregators out there, it seems to me that there is a need for a specialized community that offers people with blogs an opportunity to promote their blog to readers of other, realated blogs. Yes, you can join cooperative advertising systems like the Digitalpoint network or even do banner exchanges, but I don’t think people really look at links or banners much these days.
My idea is to create a simple system that will allow people to promote their blog by promoting blogs of others. In short, the system will encourage others to blog about your blog because you have blogged about other people’s blogs. Finding a blog to write about will be easy as they will be categoried in basic categories and when you feel like writing about food, you can easily find a blog to write about by selecting the food category.
