Google Technology
Just wrote a little bit about a video Randfish posted a link to over at SEO Chat. The video was a presentation of the University of Washington about Google’s technology by one of their search engineers, Jeff Dean. Dean talks about many subjects including the Google File System (GFS), Map Reduce Programming Model, and Conceptual Understanding. There is a bit of technical information, but you don’t have to be a complete geek to understand the concepts. If you are at all interested in how Google works, you should check out the video.
