Too Many Links?
Is there such a thing as too many links? It appears that this may be the case. Today is Dec 2, and there have been strange happenings over at Google now for the past couple of weeks. Funny how the “changes” coincided with the supposed release of MSN’s new search portal. Ever since that date, there appears to be a new filter or filters in place over at the big G. It seems that some sites are being filtered out based on the link to content ratio of the pages and the site (the IBL’s on the pages) and possibly for gaining too many links too quickly. It should come as no surprize that something like this could and or would happen. It is no secret that links play an important role in how Google ranks sites in it’s search results. It is only natural that they would want to protect them.
